This is a great universal Moisture and Temperature Tester for all grains, processed grains, but it also works for hay, straw and fiber materials. It can be used to estimate the moisture content during harvest, drying or processing the crops.

It allows you to test the grain much faster than with the drying / weight loss oven test. If you have a weight loss moisture tester you can easily make up a table that allows you to adjust the meter readings, e.g. meter: 17.9%, weight loss 17.3%, correction -0.6%. The same method can be used to adjust it to the readings at your local grain elevator.
