K-type Thermocouple Wire
MN Measurement Instruments offers a wide range of K-type thermocouple wire. K-type thermocouples can be used to measure temperatures from about -300 to 2500 degree Fahrenheit. When selecting a K-type thermocouple wire keep in mind that the maximum temperature for a K-type thermocouple wire is determined by the insulation. When the insulation melts, the thermocouple will not work correctly. For example a PVC wire can correctly transmit the temperature signal up to 2500 F, but it can only be used in areas that are limited to about 220 F, since the Vinyl will start to soften and melt.
