This is a high temperature k-type thermocouple wire with very high temperature braided fiberglass insulation, which is good up to about 700 °C or 1292 °F. This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouple probe for a wide range of applications, or to make your own thermocouple extension wire. Possible application are medium to high temperature ovens furnaces, heaters, forges, and ceramic kiln. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard K-type thermocouple specifications. It is sold in 1 yard increments, so if you order 10 units of this, you will receive a single 10 yard long wire.
