This is a small pipe clamp thermocouple with a K-type thermocouple sensor. The pipe clamp sensor is on a metal plate inside the jaws for good contact and fast response on any curved surface.

This clamp probe can be clamped on to copper and iron pipes with a diameter of up to 1 3/8 inch. This type of pipe clamps is frequently used in the HVAC trade to measure temperature on pipes in residential or commercial refrigeration installations when measuring superheat or subcooling.

Use this pipe clamp with any K-type Thermometer with a miniature k-type thermocouple connector.
