This is a high quality multi-type thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has two inputs for multiple types of thermocouples and can display T1 or T2.

Supported thermocouples are K-, E-, J-, T-, B-, N- , R- and S-Type

It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces. It allows to measure an inlet and an outlet temperature and the difference of both.
It is also great for science projects and whenever you need a precise measurement of two temperatures.

It comes with two 3 ft (1 m) temperature probes, they have a glass fiber insulation and work up to about 500°F (260°C), but any other K-type probe with miniature thermocouple connector can be used.

To use the thermometer for temperatures above 500 degree you would need a special k-type thermocouple insertion probe. You can buy additional k-type thermocouples and stainless steel insertion probes in my store.
