K-type IEC Color Code

Here you find a range of Type K thermocouple connectors, thermocouples and wires that are color coded according to IEC 60584-3. This means the K-type thermocouple connector is green, the outer insulation of the wire is green. The inner insulation is green for the + leg, and white for the - leg of the thermocouple.
These components are useful if you have a machine or peice of equipment that was made outside of the US. These often come with the green IEC color coded thermocouples and wiring. When you reapair or expand these with US ANSI color coded wire, which is yellow, the different color wires can lead to confusion. The products on this site are intended to avoid that.
