This is a stranded k-type thermocouple wire with yellow PVC insulation, which is good up to about 105 C or 221 F. This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own K-type thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own K-type extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard K-type thermocouple specifications. This is a stranded wire with 7 filaments, it is more flexible than a solid wire and therefore especially useful for k-type extension wires. This is a 220 yard spool, this equals 660 ft of wire.
