Description

K-Type Thermocouple for Digital Thermometers  PK-400

-320 to 752°F    (-200 to 400°C)

This is a reliable thermocouple wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is at the tip of a 3ft long wire probe, which has a medium temperature fiberglass insulation, good up to 752 degree Fahrenheit. We now secure the fiberglass with thin thermocouple wire, so you will not have a melting plastic heat shrink tube at the tip.

It has a miniature type thermocouple connector (2 flat blades) that will work with digital K-type thermometers of many manufacturers. This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, non corrosive liquids and it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure.

This thermocouple will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with my thermometer DM6803 and DM6804. My DT804 and DT804A only measure to -58°F.  The thermocouple connector can easily be opened and you can shorten the wire if desired.

Specification:

Thermocouple: K-Type ( chromel / alumel )

-320 to 753°F     (-200 to 400°C)

Wire length: approx. 3 ft / 100 cm
