This is a protective alumina ceramic tube for our high temperature K-type thermocouples, for example for the model CR-30. It will protect the thermocouple inside the oven, furnace or kiln from any contamination.

This k-type thermocouple protection tube is frequently used in ceramic ovens, kilns and furnaces, in pottery ovens, metal working, manufacturing and whenever you need to measure and control very high temperatures.

• Ceramic Protection Tube made from 95% Alumina Porcelain
• Usable Range up to 2600 °F (up to 1370 °C)
• Diameter (ɸ) Inside diameter = ~0.3 inch or 8 mm, Outside diameter: ~0.5 inch or 12mm
• Length 5 inch or 125 mm - ideal for the K-type thermocouple model CR-30
• When used with the thermocouple CR-02 you need to remove 5 of the insulators in the inserted section
