1/4" High Temperature k-type Thermocouple Sensor for Ceramic Kiln Furnace CR-81

This is a 1/4 inch diameter K-type Thermocouple for use in kiln, oven and furnace applications. The probe is made from AWG 14 Gauge K-type thermocouple wire (chromel and alumel) with a twisted tip and is rated for continuous use at very high temperatures up to 2498 °F Fahrenheit or 1370 °C Celsius. The k-type thermocouple is about 10 inch in total length, and the 8 ceramic insulation tubes are about 8.5 inch long. This 1/4 inch K-type thermocouple can be used as replacement thermocouple in kilns from all major kiln manufacturers. This is extra long to serve as an universal replacement thermocouple and it can be shortened to fit for 3 1/2" - 4 1/2" wall kilns. Simply remove a few insulators, mark the red wire, cut the wire to length and then bend it to fit your existing ceramic mounting block (the images illustrate this, the tools and mounting block are NOT included!).
