Screw-In K-type Thermocouple - Specialty

This is a specialty type K thermocouple. It is potted on a through-hole of a stainless steel 8-32 screw that is 1/2 inch long. The thermocouple tip protruded about 1/10 inch from the bottom of the screw.

The thermocouple is potted inside the screw using a high temperature epoxy. The fiberglass is secured and strain relieved with a AWG30 thermocouple wire wrap, which then is potted at the top of the screw.
